Welcome to Serendipity Images! Tracy Norred is a fine art photographer in Orange County, CA. Throughout her life, Tracy’s creative energy sought the crack through which to express itself. She explored poetry, jewelry-making, and aromatherapy, among other mediums. Photography was what stuck. Looking back, there were many moments when photography felt right. As a child, she loved photographing family vacations on her 110mm Ektralite 500 (a Fisher Price camera made by Kodak). A college visit to Belgium inspired the desire to photograph Europe. In 1999, she wrote that she would love to buy a professional camera and sell postcards of her most striking images. Tracy’s intentions crystallized, and on July 1, 2007, Serendipity Images was born. Of course, her tools have come a long way from the Ektralite. She now shoots in RAW format with a Nikon D80 DSLR camera, using lenses ranging from 20-300 millimeters. Sometimes Tracy’s inspiration happens in her own backyard. At other times, it happens deep in the Mojave Desert or on the coast of Maui. She watches for elusive moments, such as a flock of pelicans flying past a rainbow on the Pacific coast. Whatever your style, Tracy’s hope is that her art inspires you to hang it … above a sofa… across from your bed … in your foyer … wherever you feel inspired.
